Can I use tissue extracts with the ProteinSimple Jess™ system?

Tissue extracts are appropriate to use as long as they are prepared in buffers that are compatible with Simple Western™. Tissue extracts prepared in 1X SDS buffer (Blue Loading Buffer Pack #7722 or Red Loading Buffer Pack #7723) have worked well for our in-house testing. Please see Bio-Techne's buffer compatibility chart for more information on lysis buffers that are compatible with the Jess™ system.
